Bongcheon Salon Blues Fest 2025 aims to inherit the ‘originality’ of blues dance and further become a new ‘origin.’ This is not simply a place to learn styles or techniques, but a journey to experience through the body the historical context of blues’ birth and the source of its emotions.
This year, we will focuses on Blues Idiom Dance, which has recently become a global sensation. Blues Idiom is an innovative approach that deeply explores the essential language and emotional expression of blues dance—a new paradigm of dance that starts from traditional blues roots and adds contemporary interpretation.
